Why We Age

As we age, energy plummets, skin starts to wrinkle, muscles get weak, and our bones become brittle. These are typical signs of a decrease in growth hormone (GH). GH reaches its peak around the age of 20 and begins to plummet at about age 25, marking the start of the dreaded aging process.

An Increase in GH Levels is Associated With:

• Weight management

• Enhanced muscle mass

• Improved mood, energy, and memory

• Improved Sleep

• Enhanced sexual performance

• Improved recovery and flexibility

• Alleviated joint discomfort

Low GH Levels Lead to:

• Decreased strength and stamina

• Low energy

• Decreased muscle mass

• Weight gain

• Feelings of depression and anxiety

• Thin and dry skin

• Decreased sexual function and interest

• Reduction in bone density

• Fatigue

• Greater sensitivity to cold and heat

Causes of Low GH Levels:

• Aging

• Lack of sleep

• Severe head injury

• Pituitary tumor

• Infection

• Hormone problems related to the hypothalamus gland or pituitary gland

• Poor blood supply to the pituitary gland

• Radiation treatments to the brain

• Surgery to the brain
